Welcome to my collection of works I have created not only for school but also for interest and experience.
This piece was created to be SWAG for Riverside City College for when high schoolers come through for a tour. The building is the RCC clock tower on campus with Finn and Jake from Adventure Time sitting on top. I used a play on words to create ADM time. ADM standing for Applied Digital Media. I designed it to show that designing can be really fun and help prospective students see what they can create. We create SWAG items for students to take with them for free.
LOGO DESIGN
This was my creation of a logo for a fictional restaurant we were assigned in class. It shows the entire process of creating the logo. I began with thumbnail ideas, then took those ideas into Adobe Illustrator, refined my ideas and experimented with several versions, then finally created mockups.
PHOTOSHOP/INDESIGN CREATIONS
The first poster was an ad I created for Nutella. I used how I felt about the product to inspire my creation. The second image was a flyer that was created for a Temecula event. The second was for an assignment to create a twist on a classic or existing book. I loved reading little women and I have a slight fascination with vampires, so I thought, hey, Little Women Vampires.   The last image was created as a sequel for "The Witches of Eastwick". The premise being the babies from the movie now being all grown up.
INDESIGN/EXPRESS CREATIONS
The brochure was created with InDesign. It was an assignment for class. I began with thumbnails and enhanced my ideas in InDesign. The social media posts were created to bring awareness to the need for recycling. I created a mockup to show how it would look as a social media post.
T-SHIRT DESIGN
This design was created for a class assignment. Most children, and some adults, favor desserts over other meals. It is a play on breakfast being thought of as the most important meal of the day.
The assignment Poseidon was created for was mythical legends. Poseidon being thought of as the God of the ocean fit this assignment perfectly. He has dolphins jumping over him as he rises up from the ocean holding his trident. The assignment only allowed for two colors, but I believe it would look so much better with more colors.
I created this design for my one-color assignment in Screen printing class. I had two different versions at first and then settled on the one with the umbrella. I used several examples on the Gestalt principles to make the design more effective.
This design was created for my first assignment in Screen printing class. The assignment was to create a design that addresses an environmental or social issue.
MISCELLANEOUS WORK
I created this image using my daughter and her boyfriend as models. They are so cute together and a source of inspiration for me.
This sticker was created as a vision representation of the emotion excited. The example was to use eating dessert while spending time with your pet during a movie.
This assignment was really fun. We were to design an album cover inspired by any musical genre or artist we chose. I chose the song Karma Chameleon by Boy George. I used poly art to create a chameleon and places a Boy George style hat on his head.
Meet Meroala. He is a heroic wizard koala that protects his village from all attacks. He will fight to keep everyone safe day and night. Here you see he has slain a monstrous dragon.
