The time spent at this speakeasy was truly amazing. A friend of mine named Susana listened to my audio and said my storytelling skills were superb. She was able to grasp the passion in my low tone of how at ease the environment must have been. She said the smooth jazz helped her vision of what the setting was like and my description of the actions that were taking place helped her live in the moment through audio.

If I had to do something differently, I would’ve talked to one of the poets who was at the event. Their work was amazing and it would’ve been great to highlight that moment. My goal to improve the quality of my work would ultimately be to get a portable microphone that I can attach. It would’ve helped capture more of me and not what was going on around me.
