And these machines don't stop when your curiosity gets the better of you and you just have to touch that spinning thingy. I've learned a lot shooting in industrial venues, of course, catching yourself on fire while welding in an industrial arena taught me a bunch too, mainly to know where the fire extinguisher is at all times. But that doesn't matter. What does matter is that beautiful design and architecture isn't just found within the pages of Architectural Digest or Traditional Home or even Dwell. It can be found everywhere. Every thing that has been built has been designed. Personally, I love functional design; bones, machines, watches and even pens (I have a soft spot for pens).
