Yahoo! Answers launched in the US in 2006 after being successful in Yahoo! Taiwan as 'Knowledge Search'.
The design challenge required clearing the search mental model for users and introducing a community driven question and answer product platform.

I was fortunate to work with a team that was willing to adopt many of the design studio practices to help us bring in a fresh and holistic approach to the design solution. With Ask. Answer. Discover as our product tagline we created the product voice and visual aesthetic. Y! Answers was launched in 19 countries worldwide reaching 1.3 million users generating 1.5 million questions and 729,000 best answers!
