  • From my research in Metamorphasis, I found myself preoccupied with the “in between”. For example, the moment the caterpiller is no longer a caterpillar but relinquishes all biological memory to become a butterfly. Or perhaps the transition a human goes through from embryo to infant. In this place, there is an in between, a moment when the grip on what was loosens and what will be opens to what is. It is in this moment that I find inspirtion for my current explorations. I wanted to explore how the 3-dimesional object relates and interacts with the fabric and body form.
