JUST ANOTHER COOKBOOK - NOT!

JUST ANOTHER COOKBOOK - NOT!

Crafted a bespoke cookbook for a Canada-based ad agency - NGEN, designed as a New Year's gift for their employees, featuring a delightful array of cuisines from around the globe.
MOODBOARD 1

Bursting with vibrant pop colors and a design with a lively and energetic mood. The incorporation of vintage design elements adds a trendy twist, lending the cookbook a playful yet nostalgic vibe. While the style may be popular, its boldness and energy ensure immediate attention-grabbing impact.
MOODBOARD 2

With an idea to blend food and travel, I tried playing around with the visual feel of it. The concept is engaging enough and can be packed as a one-of-a-kind cookbook.
By blending the excitement of culinary exploration with the adventure of travel, it becomes irresistibly eye-catching and impossible to overlook.

MOODBOARD 3

Presenting a modern and minimalist approach with its clean design and 2D illustrations. The sleek aesthetic ensures a contemporary feel while allowing the focus to remain on the culinary imagery. By showcasing food in a 2D dimension, this option highlights the artistic potential of food, offering a perspective highlighting the side where food can be a art form as well!

MOODBOARD 4

What sets this option apart is the use of color to contrast food, keeping it front and center against a mostly black and white background. The contrast between the monochrome backdrop and the vivid food imagery ensures each dish stands out, creating a experience that celebrates the delights featured in the cookbook.
Its minimal appeal adds on to the contrast with the chaotic food dishes, ensuring each recipe stands out in a visually striking way.

THE FINAL BOOK -
The ask
- was to redefine the notion of corporate gifting.
Instead of the conventional, fleeting tokens of appreciation, NGEN posed a challenge  – could a corporate gift surpass the boundaries of time and utility?

The idea and execution
- a dance between culture, culinary artistry, and design finesse.
The cookbook was a collection of carefully curated recipes reflecting the team’s global
origins and to also serve as a lasting reminder of NGEN’s commitment to innovation.
The execution wasn’t just about creating a cookbook; it was about crafting an immersive
journey through taste, design, and the rich flavors of NGEN.

The impact
- a tangible manifestation of corporate identity.
The impact of the NGEN Cookbook extended beyond the kitchen. The cookbook sparked conversations, shared laughter, and celebrated the diversity that defines the Canada based agency. The NGEN Cookbook was not just a collection of recipes, it’s a testament to their ability to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
