Flora and Fauna of the Caatinga
Caatinga is a Tupi word meaning "white forest" and an unique ecoregion in interior northeastern Brazil, characterized as a xeric shrubland, with small, thorny trees and many endemic species.
The illustrations were developed as part of the collective ABUN (Artists and Biologists Unite for Nature), in collaboration with the Programa Amigos da Onça.
