This composition was the result of a shading assignment for a drawing course. I decided to experiment with hatching and cross-hatching. I added as much detail as I could, so there are many layers in the shadows. The illustration exhibits a variety in the line-work, which creates the illusion of texture. I utilized pen for this assignment.
