In Chinese dictionary, "design" is defined as "Make work plan and draw images accoding to a task's purpose and requirements." Without a doubt, this definition is no longer apropirate to the design industry in China today.
But, what is design like in China today?
This book surveys designers working in China, both Chinese and foriengers to answer the question "Design in Chian is Like...." with indepth interviews with six designers providing the insights on design industry in China.
