Telling Your Viewers a Story: "Why was the race restarted?"
I took this set of images during a classic car race at Donington Park. I had a number of images to choose from, from this particular 'moment', when the Sunbeam Tiger's brakes failed, causing spectacular consequences for the classic BMW in front! I chose one of the initial race action, one of the collision in action, and one of the aftermath.
I have considered the crop ratio of the images, together with trying to dull down a little of the background by the fence, which takes away from the action I feel.
I am welcome to comments on how editing these images or images in general of this sort of content could be approached. I have felt so far that you either go stylistic or black and white.
I also wish my shutter speed had been faster for Image 2.
