Book Cover Design
HOW TO GET OUT OF CAREER STAGNATION
I had a session with this client on how to go about the Book cover design. Honestly, she said "I'll leave it to your creativity".
I started by sketching out some ideas that pops into my head. Using the book title as reference, I searched online for related keywords. After so much brainstorming, I finally settled with two concepts shown above.

Idea 1:
A figure, male and /or female moving in circle with another path linked with the circle the leads outside.

Idea 2:
A figure, male and /or female climbing out of a pit with a rope.
I opened my Illustrator and did some illustrations.

Color:
Yellow, Blue and Green.
Choose these colors for various reasons:
Yellow: To give a sense of excitement of not being stagnant
Blue: Giving the buyers a level of trustworthiness which leads to engagement of want to buy the book.
Green: Life. The sense of being alive after getting out of stagnation.
This is the first idea concept for the cover. A figure, male and /or female moving in circle with another path linked with the circle the leads outside.

Color:
Yellow, Blue and Green.

Choose these colors for various reasons:
Yellow: To give a sense of excitement of not being stagnant
Blue: Giving the buyers a level of trustworthiness which leads to engagement of want to buy the book.
Green: Green represents Life. The sense of being alive after getting out of stagnation.
This is the design the client went with.
This is the second idea concept for the cover. A figure, male and /or female climbing out of a pit with a rope.
For more engagement and aesthetic, I created a 3D mockup for the book cover which I then used to design this flyer.
She loved it!
