While working at Wizards of the Coast I designed a recycling bin in an effort to help local game stores recycle waste from Magic: The Gathering products. We worked with TerraCycle to create a recycling bin that would go with our branding and wouldn't look out of place in a game store.
Below you can see my design process to try and create something that was evergreen and went along with the environmentally friendly themes, and would hopefully last for an extended period of time at a store.
This is the final design we went with. It used current artwork, but it was vague enough where it could be used for several years without looking out of date.
