For my final project for design principles I was given the task of reimagining an existing product. I was to keep the basic mechanisms of the product intact and focus on modifying its form. I chose to explore a simple solar powered desk toy. 

My final design is a glass form that houses copper moving pieces and ceramic fins. Solar panels are embedded on the face and cause the copper bits to sway back and forth.
