Dr. Bunnel's Grand Opening

In 2012, while browsing the Library of Congress website, I found a Civil War era photo of an old barn that was converted for the embalming of fallen soldiers. The signage on display seemed odd to me and my twisted sense of humor was sparked to create a piece; people lining up for the latest fad, to be embalmed. It's always been one of my favorite pieces, but I felt it needed more depth to raise its worthiness to be shown at festivals. Here, I'm sharing the original photo, the 2012 version of my piece, and my updated edition for 2024.
