I wanted to create an illustration in Adobe Illustrator based off a folk tale in another culture's style. Wanting to explore Vietnamese culture more, I created this illustration to represent the tale "Chú Thỏ Trên Mặt Trăng", an originally Buddhist folk tale that tells the story of how the rabbit ended up on the moon. I illustrated it in the traditional Vietnamese Đông Hồ painting style.
