NYP BOLD GRAD SHOW
My school, Nanyang Polytechnic, was hosting a graduation show for the design students. I was part of the motion graphics team, where we received the theme of the show, 'BOLD', along with the art direction and script. We had to create an animation advertising and showcasing what the concept is all about.
I was involved in the researching, ideating, storyboarding, animation and voice acting of the video.
I was mostly in charge of animating the part of the video where it says 'Bright, Brave and Brilliant'.

Initial Version
This was the initial version of my part.
Originally, we were going for thicker, more ribbon-like lines for our video, however, we realise it did not match the art direction which was already given to us, which is thin, scribbly lines.
The script at this part also says 'Bright, Brave and Brilliant', however, the text is always being confined in a box, so I had to switch it up to be more free and expressive, which correlates with the meaning of the line more.

Final Version (My Part)
Thus, I changed it to the final version you see here.
I incorporated more of the scribbly lines and tried to make the text less uniform and more uneven, so it doesn't look too rigid. Same with the circle that goes around the text, so that it looks less constricted and unrestrained.
