'Stitch' concept was developed for the local manufacturer who is specializing on metal processing. It was further submitted to a 'Ukrainian Design: the Very Best of' (2014) design competition.
Two basic modifications are developed within the concept:
- option #1 with powder coated metal construction (uniform colour) and wooden table tops
- option #2 with powder coated metal construction (two contrast colours) and laminated MDF table tops
Hight - 500mm, Diameter - 800mm
Different combinations of finishes and colours make the "Stitch" applicable to different interiors and styles.
Crossing of metal sheets in different directions creates a rigid structure, while leaving the design light and easy to move. Cogs and screws in this case used for temporary bonding, and will eventually be replaced.
