Toast to Love and Eternity: Cheers to the Newlyweds!

Toasts have been part of the wedding reception since the 17th century.  Raise a glass and cheers to the newly wed couple and speak a few words that will hopefully cheer everyone attending the wedding venue's festivities as part of the Maid of Honor and Best Man duties. In the customary manner, a toast is also made by the groom and the father of the bride. The contemporary bride frequently chooses to add a salute to her expression.
