An alphabet book I designed on understanding text and chat lingo for the older generation. Inspired by my own grandparents who are up to date with the latest gadgets and technology and the only major problem they face is understanding the bizarre lingo that youngsters from the ages 12-25 use. The book compiles 26 majorly used abbreviations, 1 for each letter of the alphabet and illustrations describing the usage. It was made with the hope that it would make communication between these two generations easier.
The illustration style and layouts were made with geometric forms to give the book a digital feel. I used a larger font size keeping in mind the target audience.
A few spreads from the book
The book may also be converted into an app for use on mobile phones, computers, laptops and tablets.
