在考察廟會活動之時，我們發現過去人聲鼎沸的廟會、能造成萬人空巷的歌仔戲表演，如今僅剩形式上的敬神與寥寥無幾的年長者在戲台下安靜地看戲；或許是時代的不同，人們也逐漸遺忘那些曾經是最有人情味的聚會，是親朋好友、左鄰右舍相聚的好時光，這個資訊爆炸的時代，總是讓人覺得人和人之間的距離少了一點人情味，因此我們開始思考，如何找回最初在廟會中的文化信仰與感動，並用現代的方式拉近人與人之間的距離，進而開始執行本次專題計畫。
During our examination of temple fair activities, we observed a stark contrast from the past bustling scenes, where temple fairs used to draw crowds and Taiwanese opera performances could captivate entire streets. Nowadays, these events only retain superficial acts of worship, with few elderly spectators quietly watching the performances. Perhaps due to the changing times, people are gradually forgetting what used to be the most heartfelt gatherings, occasions for family and friends, and neighbors to come together. In this age of information explosion, there seems to be a diminishing sense of warmth between people. Consequently, we began pondering how to rediscover the cultural beliefs and emotions initially present in temple fairs, and how to bridge the gap between people using modern approaches. Thus, we embarked on this special project to address these concerns.
