For this year's event, UMG commissioned us to create a 30 minute large scale video installation in collaboration with Organized Matter's event designer, Krislyn Komarov, and our event sponsor Intel.
The challenge was to generate AI imagery ethically by avoiding any software or tools created from data scraped and/or copyrighted images. Using Adobe Firefly as the starting point for an ethical workflow - and Organized Matter's interior mood boards as inspiration - we began the process of outputting still images that would ultimately become the base for the 6000 pixel wide animations.
The result was projected onto a 100' wall that spanned the length of the space, filling the space with light and color ... and creating a dreamy background for this special night.
