ROOM FOR ROAMERS & BIRDS OF PASSAGE
Beyond the surface is a collection of photographic sculptures in the shape of a surfboard. As the surfboard suggests forward movement and exploration we search within our imagery for a visual language that fits this notion of discovering new horizons. The surfboards exist in several different materials; acrylic glass, acrylic dibond, aluminum and wood. The laser engraved acrylic glass surfboards are set in a stainless steel mount, the other surfboards can be displayed on the custom black metal standard or placed without the standard against a wall or mounted on the wall. Whatever suits your wavelength.
