Assassin Bob
For another imaginary game, I created this new character, Assasin Bob!
His name perfectly matches his looks. Every person who meets him already knows his name somehow and immediately understands that he's the best assassin.
The high poly model was made with ZBrush, and the low poly with Maya. A lot of work was put into texturing. At first, Bob went through a long texture baking process in Marmoset with multiple corrections to the low poly model.
All the maps were merged in Photoshop. Then goes the fascinating hand-paint process in 3D Coat and Substance 3D Painter. These programs are absolutely new for me to work with. I almost went insane trying to learn how to use 3D Coat. It's not beginner-friendly, I guess.
To build the pose, I created the temporary rigg with Accurigg. Then I made an animation in Marmoset.
Also, I decided to make a few pictures of the character in an environment. So I installed a free map in Unreal Engine 5 library and put Assassin Bob in there. This is my debut project made with UE5, and I'm already in love with it.
