We were shown a TED talk by Ramesh Raskar in my Spatial Dynamics class, which introduced the idea of Femto-Photography. This technology has the ability to visualize the world at 1 trillion frames per second, and can therefore capture the motion of light.

was intrigued by this, and attempted to find a way to represent the path of a photon through installation art, projection mapping, and animation.

Dimensions (of the cardboard structure): 7′ (height) x 5’6″ (width) x 3′ (depth)

The animation is projected on the cardboard structure, as seen above.
