Ceramic glazes made with 100% recycled waste materials

One of my sustainable resolutions for 2024 is creating a set of ceramic glazes out of studio waste. Things like clay reclaim, glaze residue, sink trap sludge, etc. After several months of mixing, stirring, screening, and testing, I'm thrilled to present some initial results.
Glaze 9-V-B aka Apple Moss: Shiny yellowish speckled glaze with a hint of blue clouds in thick layers. Made of sink sludge, glaze waste mix, and apple tree ash.
Glaze 13-II-A aka Dark Leopard: Silky matte deep brown opaque glaze with shiny spots. Made of low-firing red clay sludge and glaze waste mix.
Glaze 19-II aka Moon Foam: Opaque matte off-white glaze with heavy crawling or craters, depending on the clay body. Made of stoneware slip offcuts reclaim and glaze waste mix. For decorative items.
I'm absolutely thrilled with how they turned out — a unique look at zero cost and with zero waste! No new or store-bought ingredients are used in these glazes.
