New World as its motto, giving competitors the freedom to interpret it in any way they
like. Submitted works can present a vision of the future, a new world order driven by technology, conflict or artificial intelligence, but they can also paint a picture of hope – a visualisation of a world full of harmony, peace and pure air. The phrase “new world” may be incorporated in the poster, but this is not a requirement.

The focus of this year’s three exhibitions presented at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Torun will be on Latin American graphic design, hence the motto – New World – makes a direct reference to how new geographical discoveries, the Americas, were once described.
