This Children's picture book started off as a college assignment to explore Indian traditions but it ended up being so much more. I delved into the Indian tradition of hair oiling as a part of hair care and what it means to me and my family.
This book follows Srishti, a young girl based on a younger me, and her journey with hair oiling and the relationships she builds through it with the women in her family.
