Incorporating scents into the design is a way of creating emotional memories for people, it helps people to connect past memories through familiar smell. For example, different fragrant of flowers for different occasion, smell of rooms with artificial aromas, or smell of certain food. Just like how blind people recognise similar shape and texture objects through smell.
Educational Block
An aisle showcasing brief info of braille which helps people to learn how those “raised dots” work. By this, it fosters ampathy by helping individuals to undertand and connect with the experience of people who are blind as a whole.
Tactile Art Display Area
Unlike typical museum art, tactile art encourages people to appreciate he art through touching it. Various of local artists artwork would be displayed at here not only to support them but also provides a platform to reach people heart through sensory , making the art more lively
Interactive Motion Capture Wall
The interactive nature of the motion-reactive wall provides sensory stimulation beyond just tactile exploration. As visitors interact with the wall, they may also experience auditory feedback, such as sound effects or music, further enriching their sensory experience and creating a multisensory environment.
Dining in the Dark
Experience how your other senses react to being in complete darkness. This multi sensory dining experience will stimulate your senses as you will focus more on textures and subtle flavours of the dishes.
Forest of Sounds
Upon learning simple braille, visitors proceed on a journey of exploration where their goal is to escape the forest maze while being blindfolded, relying on touch and hearing senses. The exhibition features directional soundscapes guiding people out of the forest, or they could known the direction from the tree with braille dots on it.
