Project Manager and Designer

As a project manager I had to coordinate a team of three engineers from different fields. Our goal was to create a functional prototype of a drink dispenser. During designing and building the food and beverage safety was a high priority, the sourcing of materials and parts were based on the regulations and standards.
As a result we successfully created an arduino based portable prototype which has passed a 5 hour active test in an environment where the product was intended to be used.
During the design process, two main objectives were set: the size and geometry of the body must be as small as possible, and all parts must be placed according to food and beverage safety standards. Lastly, but not least, the design must suggest to the user that it is a machine serving drinks. Because of the design's nature and component layout, the general coffee machine shape was chosen. While the general shape suggests the function, the details do not align with those of other products found on the market.
The machine in the proper environment for a five-hour test.
Due to its high performance (theoretical maximum pumped liquid 200+L), it was more convenient to use water cans to contain all carbonated water and wine.

In conclusion, it was quite challenging to manage such a complicated project. Further development in liquid storage would be practical but is currently held back due to available manufacturers.
