Mudzi, a district of Mashonaland East Province in Zimbabwe, is home to a group of industrious women who rely on selling raw and unprocessed baobab fruit as a source of livelihood.

CAMFED, in partnership with ZimTrade, has embarked on an initiative to capacitate these rural women with knowledge, skills and equipment with the aim of setting up a business entity that will value add the raw baobab fruit.

I was engaged as a branding consultant to design a brand identity. The following are the results of that project.
Baobab + Natural = Baona
The design of the Baona logo is anchored on the "o" which also resembles the baobab fruit.
