For this project I designed a music poster depicting one of my favorite songs “ Will you

be there” by Michal Jackson from a well known movie called “Free Willy”. I used

Psychedelic style for this poster. 

My goal was to get the bright and colorful colors, intricate geometric patterns and distorted forms . I make sure this has a sense of movement in some part of the design using free-flowing lines. I also made sure to use groovy typography which was one of the characteristics of Psychedelic style. 

Even though this is Psychedelic style I want to go with a very simple design, because of that I only include the three elements for my design which was the fish, ocean waves and the sunshine, just enough to get the story. I used both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to

create this poster.

For my hand-crafted element (fisheye), I used this wall decor piece (pic attached) over a sun and fisheye. (I took a pic of it and removed the background using Photoshop)
