After doing research on Adrian Frutiger, the designer of the typeface Serifa, and how it is used today, I designed a logotype, and postcard. For developing a successful design, I've considered the formal characteristics of the typeface, the type designer's other areas of interest, which was sculpture, and the communicative impact in using color. I found the '&' letter's sculptural quality strong and decided to use pastel toned colors to meet the delicate quality of the typeface.
