I found out that most of cookbooks focus on specific regions or types of food, for example desserts from Italy or a collection of recipes about fish - but what about the shape of the foods? Taking rolled food as focus of this book was fascinating to see the diversity of rolled food across all regions. It seems as if it was a natural human's instinct to make wrapped or rolled food. This cook book contains 24 recipes from 19 countries, 4 continents. Recipe is followed by the map / flag of the country and profile view illustration of the food.
An extended project on my own from the cook book "Let's Roll". I have made a reformation of the original book into a handmade Artist book with accordion binding. "Let's Roll Desserts" is focusing specifically on the dessert menus by continents, Europe as the first book and Asia, Australia, North America as the second one.
