Firstly, I restored this old photograph (of my Grandma )from the 1940's using Adobe photoshop elements. I used a variety of tools and processes to complete the missing parts, such as the clone , heal and blurr tools.
Heres my photograph after it had been fully restored .
I then began to paint the photo in an edwardian colour theme and style to match the era of the photograph .
I decided to add a burst of colour to the the broach by altering it slightly adding in a pink rose. I did this to give my painting individuality and to create visual interest .
Here is my finished painting.
To compliment the style of the picture I mouted it in an old wooden frame, which in the future I may gold leaf .
