As the Media and Communications Manager at Worldwide Documentaries, I assisted in the planning and launch of Every 8 Minutes, a campaign to raise awareness of modern-day slavery. The campaign was devised by iPartner India, a UK-based NGO working on the ground to bring about positive change in India. Every 8 Minutes was inspired by the film, Not My Life, and was launched in conjunction with the film's broadcast on Doordarshan, India's public television network, in the summer of 2014. The broadcast was seen by 460 million viewers.
