The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Captains Camp

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Captains Camp is a distinctive camp experience designed to foster leadership qualities in high school athletes. The camp offers a structured and purposeful experience for those looking to make a positive impact in their communities through sports.

The FCA Captains Camp is a comprehensive experience focused on equipping high school athletes with the tools they need to become impactful leaders. The camp aims to achieve its mission through various activities and sessions, including "Doing sports God's Way" and specific character sessions. While the cost for a Captain is $255, there are also scholarships are available. Space is limited to 48 participants, with 24 slots each for boys and girls. Additionally, current and former college athletes can participate as Huddle Leaders, investing their time into high school athletes.

The camp's schedule includes a range of activities over the course of three days, such as competitions, character sessions, and huddle discussions. The camp concludes with a return and commissioning session, and parents and nominating coaches are encouraged to attend.

Participation in Captains Camp is based on a nomination process. Coaches can nominate high school student athletes based on their service, commitment, and sacrifice. The nomination is reviewed by local FCA staff, and if accepted, the athlete receives registration instructions and a scholarship code from the coach.
