For this Ways of Seeing Composition assignment, I used the combination of the dog Tilly (and Max in one) and various subject matters to create diverse positions and images that have an element of balance.
I used my Canon camera to compose different compositions, whilst playing around with the colour palette. All images of the dog(s), the tree and plant were taken in one location, whilst the buildings were shot at a local elementary school. The shot of the charred doll was taken in Slab City and the television during sunset was taken near the Salton sea. I hope to have conveyed to the viewer; the different approaches to taking images that represent the ways of seeing composition, and the techniques required for an effective photograph.
