In the modern globalized world, viticultural traditions in the Itata Valley are endangered due to excessive commercialization and environmentally harmful production methods. This project aims to design a sustainable plan for the valley and vineyards, considering heritage, identity, ecology, and sustainability. It seeks to support winemakers in preserving their centuries-old culture and promoting artisanal production through infrastructure that addresses water consumption issues. The project is based on studying the local ecosystem and involves a master plan for the valley, incorporating building typologies that respect the community's identity.
