Little Lies - A Typography Poster
This was a lesson in typography.
Based on Fleetwood Mac's 1987 song, Little Lies, this poster was inpsired by the idea of type as a shape.
The color palette is based on the cover art for the album, Tango in the Night.
The font itself has a sharpness to it, which I then contrasted with the fluidity of the cursive lettering at the bottom. The shape inspired me to bring the letters together to make lips.
The red string, inspired by the idea of spinning a web of lies, and the way in which they get out of hand and weigh a person down.
