Railroad Lantern - 3D model
The railroad lantern model is designed to be an in-game prop. Its design is inspired by antique railroad lanterns from the late 1800s/early 1900s. The lantern has sat abandoned, exposed to the elements, causing its metal to rust and degrade. Its dents and scratches are testaments to the work its seen in its lifetime. Mysteriously, its half-burned candle still remains, in case the player needs a little help seeing in dark places.
Modeled in Maya, sculpted in Mudbox, and textured with Photoshop.
