SEAMLESS FABRIC DESIGN
Recently, I designed and hand printed a seamless pattern for a clothing brand called Habits. The brief was to create a digital camouflage repeat pattern that could be screen printed. Once I created the design, I then used my screen printing studio to bring the
fabric to life.
Once the fabric was printed, we had a briefing in the studio to come up with ideas of what to create with the fabric. we came up with the idea of making cargo pants, and a utility vest. Previews of this can be found below.
The pants we created had transparent pockets to give an urban feel along with revealing what is inside the pockets. the same was done with the utility vest.
Once we used the fabrics for cut and sew, we ended up with the final result. It was then time to create a campaign for the pieces of clothing. I decided to pick a model and start shooting around the city of Manchester.
