Idea/Execution:
I decided to remake the cover of 'Daughters of Sri' as one of my projects because I wanted to show a different perspective in the visual representation of the book. My idea entered around using dark and eerie colours. The two girls on the cover signifying the sisters and just generally incorporating rich elements that resonated with the story's theme.
The execution involved careful consideration of colour palettes, typography and layout that conveyed the spirit of my idea effectively but still visually appealing. I made sure through this redesign, I offer a compelling reinterpretation that honours Reni Amayo's work.
