Renovation Design for the Atrium and Seminar Rooms of Qianjin Building
湖南大学前进楼作为学校内的重要建筑，承载着教学、科研等多项功能。然而，随着时代的发展和学生需求的变化，现有的空间布局和设施已不能满足师生的需求。因此，本次改造设计旨在通过优化空间布局、增加设施等方式，提升前进楼的使用功能和舒适度。此次改造设计主要在两栋楼中间建立玻璃廊桥，同时利用户外得中庭，建立一个可休闲的户外学习区。同时改造还包含一个室内的研讨空间。
As an important building in the school, the forward Building of Hunan University carries many functions such as teaching, scientific research and so on.
However, with the development of the times and the changes in the needs of students, the existing spatial layout and facilities have been unable to meet the needs of teachers and students.
Therefore, the purpose of this renovation design is to improve the function and comfort of the forward building by optimizing the spatial layout and increasing the facilities.
The design of this transformation is mainly to build a glass covered bridge between the two buildings, and at the same time to use the outdoor atrium to establish a leisure outdoor learning area.
At the same time, the transformation also includes an indoor research space.
