Twin images - imperfectly arranged
Behind both versions of a design is the notion that nothing natural in life is perfect. To me there is more interest and inspiration derived from noticing and accepting the imperfect than striving to correct it. So although I began with an idea - or hypothesis - which was to assemble disparate elements on the picture plane, I was alert to accidental events which deserved capturing.
The success of the work for me is if the viewer's imagination is activated so they create their own interpretation of the work.
