The project was to root our design in a community and location of our choice, and to build speculative design for our chosen subjects. I chose to conceptualize my story in dystopian Bangalore, fifty years in the future, from the lens of the LGBTQIA community. The design explores a Bangalore with extreme water scarcity issues and seeing the impact this has from a sociological and economic standpoint. A rebel faction fights for their right to water against a corrupt government colluding with greedy corporations.

Further scope of the work would involve creating an interactive animated short film, told from the perspective of one of our protagonists, Damini Pillai.
