I started to learn pottery during August 2022 and I love with how delicate yet strong clay can be, and how impossible is to rush its natural process.

One of the first things I learnt was to first focus on the structure I wanted to create rather than to think about it being already perfect from the beginning. So, 1. Build something and 2. Make it beautiful, in that exact order. That had an impact on me since most of times I wanted to be sure to be doing the perfect thing since the very beginning, but I think I'm finally getting it.

It's been beautiful to be able to model, soften, color and burn every piece, and to learn that fire doesn't destroy but transforms everything along the process.

Here are some pieces and techniques I've done and learnt so far, thanks for passing by :)
Slip carving / Sgraffito.
Pinching.
First pieces. Coiling and Pinching.
Slab building and transfering.
Built and burnt a house using something between slab building, pinching and coiling.
The blue one was the first i-don't-know-what-i'm-doing idea.
Slab building again. Loved the colors and waves on this plate.
Carved seal and scratched flowers.
Oh and I recently started to sign my pieces like this!
