After my teacher’s recommendation, I went to the exhibition Women in revolt. 

 

This exhibition tells the story of the process of women's rights in history. 

 

What impressed me most were the three metal figures with their bodies spread out. The images were bold and funny, with obvious gender symbols and deep irony.

 

The second one is also about a type of work of mine. A woman records the movements of the fetus in her belly. The marks and growth marks on her belly are my investigation points for the marks on the female body. 

 

The one in the middle that looks like a chessboard is very interesting. It imitates the laws of astronomy and creates a girl’s menstrual cycle to satirize the birth of the laws. 

 

I really like the form of the last piece of clothing. The whistles, notes, etc. are very symbolic. However, after watching this exhibition, I am actually more concerned about the status of women in today’s society. The real situation of women’s status in life is what I need to pay more attention to.
