LEGO DIY Planters: A Sustainability Project

LEGO DIY Planters
Background:
LEGO, a Danish company founded in 1932, is renowned for its iconic interlocking plastic bricks that allow users to construct a wide array of imaginative structures. The brand has become synonymous with creativity, play, and learning, appealing to individuals of all ages.

LEGO has set ambitious targets, aiming to use sustainable materials in all of its core products and packaging by as soon as 2030.
Audience:
- Past LEGO users
-Environmentalist
- Nature lovers
- Early adults
- Late teens

Targeting people who already own LEGO materials in their inventory, this includes anyone interested in putting these pieces to use in a fun and sustainable project.
Problem:
LEGO efforts to act sustainably do not include the customer. Acting with haste is important in matters concerning the protection of the environment.
Strategy:
By encouraging past customers  to use their inventory of pieces to build customizable planters, LEGO can benefit from promoting sustainability efforts.

They would retain new and old LEGO fans by giving free and generic instructions along with an assortment of additional collateral like stickers and a matching wallpaper. By keeping with the classic presentation of LEGO branding, this concept pushes LEGO into the world with a functional application.
