Abbey Road has a list of ‘floating equipment’ not assigned to any studio. It covers a huge list of gear from all eras, including loads of digital outboard, synths (Moogs, Nords etc), classic Lexicon gear, Roland Space and Chorus Echos. There are nine spare Pro Tools Systems (in case it gets busy) and over 20 sets of monitors from the likes of Adam, Genelec, Yamaha, KRK and ATC (in case it gets really busy). Plus enough cabling to wire up Glastonbury six times over…
