Kitchen tool | SL27 Link | Konstantin Slawinski | 2011

To invent a new product we start by separating a common one into its individual components. In this case, we took a kitchen tong which is nothing more than a fitting and two pieces of cutlery. The main idea behind Link is to design a union joint, making the user able to combine his existing cutlery with and finally transform it into various gripping tools. In this way a spoon and a fork may turn into salad servers, two knives deliver a fine pair of grill tongs and two chopsticks turn into a set of sushi flatware. A little extra: The cross section allows to use any form of cutlery handles.

Measurements: 45 x 23 x 55 mm
